WELCOME BACK!!! I hope you all are rested from a wonderful Thanksgiving vacation and ready to get back to school! We will be busy these upcoming weeks with practice for the Advent Musical, continuing our study of Ancient Egypt, and beginning a new unit in English on journalism.
Important Dates: Advent Service and Musical on Wednesday 12/12 at 7 p.m.
Christmas vacation begins on 12/20
Monday – Veterans Day Observance
Tuesday – Extra credit opportunity: “The Last Flight of Petr Ginz” at Chapman University @7 p.m.
Thursday – Thanksgiving Feast (bring $7 by Tuesday….cash or checks payable to Shannon Salottolo)
Next week is Lutheran Educator’s Conference and Thanksgiving Break……NO SCHOOL!!!

Please join me in welcoming our student teacher, Miss Abby Allen from Concordia – Irvine. Miss Allen will be working with both classes until the first of the year. We are excited to have her in our classrooms this quarter.
Veteran’s Day chapel – Thursday!! If you are bringing a veteran, please plan on being here by 8:20. We will be meeting in the school lobby to get our guests and students lined up for the processional at the beginning of chapel. Coffee and pastries will be served after chapel. All parents and grandparents are encouraged to stay.
Art Masters this week!
Field Trip to OC Sanitation Station – Friday. We plan on leaving at 8:45 and returning by 12:30.
